Welcome to Williams Elementary School!
Williams Elementary School is a grade 3-5 school where we strive to meet the individual needs of each student. We welcome each student where they are and diligently work to move each student to their achieve their academic best, while also nurturing students to become well-rounded, confident , and successful. We believe that all children belong at Williams Elementary.
We are geographically located approximately 20 miles north of our state capital, Augusta, Maine. The area is rural yet renowned for the Belgrade Lakes, a chain of seven lakes including East Pond, North Pond, McGrath Pond, Salmon Pond, Great Pond, Long Pond, and Snow Pond. Our school is part of the Messalonskee School District RSU # 18, which encompasses the towns of Oakland, Belgrade, Sidney, Rome and China, Maine.
