Money Matters in Motion
Fourth graders at Williams Elementary had the opportunity to visit KVFCU for an engaging tour and hands-on activities connected to their More Than Money Junior Achievement program. During the visit, students explored the inner workings of a credit union, including a look inside the money vault, an overview of how transactions are processed, and a glimpse into the daily responsibilities of staff members. They also participated in a brief lesson on money comparisons and discussed common financial vocabulary used in everyday operations. The experience provided valuable insight as students learned about the differences between a credit union and a bank, bringing their classroom learning to life in a meaningful way. #WeAreRSU18 #WESproud18
