Eagles of the Week, 3/22/21
Grade 4: Grace McKay
Grace has been nominated for Eagle of the Week by Mrs. Mayo for all of her hard work and her outstanding effort even when she was learning remotely for a short period of time. She never missed a Google Meets class and handed in all of the assignments on time. In the classroom, Grace is always kind, caring, and helpful, is a great listener and participates in class discussions, does her best work, and gives her best effort. Mrs. Mayo loves her energy and her excitement for learning. Way to go, Grace!!
Grade 5: Ana Still
Ana has been nominated for Eagle of the Week because of her awesome attitude. She has been nominated by multiple classmates and by her teacher. Her classmates noticed that Ana goes above and beyond to be helpful to others. Ana helps Ms. Jolicoeur on the playground to pick up sleds that are left behind and to clear water from the walkways. She is also willing to help her peers in the classroom in any way she can. Ana is also a great listener and is thoughtful and kind. We are lucky to have Ana as part of our WES community. Keep up the fantastic work, Ana!
