Eagles of Week: 5/23/25
Congratulations to the latest Eagles of the Week from Williams Elementary School – Quinn Leighton, Nolan Sayers, and Fynn Marden!
Grade 3: Quinn Leighton – Miss Sides and classmates are happy to nominate Quinn Leighton as their next third grade Eagle of the Week. Quinn is a ray of sunshine who shares kindness with others each day. When nominating her, one peer wrote, “She never gives up and she shows respect.” Another student stated, “Quinn has an awesome attitude.” Miss Sides is incredibly proud of Quinn for the effort and responsibility that she has shown this year, as well as the growth she has made as a third grader. Keep shining your light, Quinn!
Grade 4: Nolan Sayers – The fourth grade Eagle of the Week is Nolan Sayers! Miss Lilly and his classmates are so proud of Nolan. Nolan truly is a star student. He is always on task, does his best on every assignment, and is willing to help others. Nolan is always quick to light up the room with a silly joke or set the tone for a story by whistling the Harry Potter theme. One classmate shared about Nolan that once, in Math Olympiad, “Nolan got stuck on one of the problems and just keep trying. He also listens so well that he can explain things to someone else!” Another student shared that Nolan is “kind, engaged, and has an awesome growth mindset.” Miss Lilly sees these qualities as well. She is always impressed by Nolan’s willingness to work through challenges and his ability to share his wealth of knowledge with others. Keep up the amazing work, Nolan! We are so proud of you!
Grade 5: Fynn Marden – Mrs. Pullen and her class are excited to announce this week’s Eagle of the Week for 5th grade! This student is engaged, has an awesome attitude, a growth mindset, is a great listener, and puts in great effort in everything he does! Some of his classmates recognize him for putting in so much effort in school, especially in math. He is considered a good friend who is helpful and kind in class and on the playground. The class would like to congratulate Fynn Marden for putting in awesome effort and being engaged in everything he does. Great work Fynn!
