Latest Eagles of the Week
Congratulations to Williams Elementary’s latest Eagles: Hudson Guerette, Leland Kouba, and Kaiden Bryant!
Mrs. Lockhart is excited to share that Hudson Guerette is the third grade Eagle of the Week this week! She writes, “Kindness is the name of the game for Hudson. He loves to make others smile and feel appreciated. He is always willing to help a friend when they have questions about their assignments. He works hard and wants to do well. He takes pride in his work and always gives 110%. Keep up the great work, Hudson. I am so proud of you!”
Miss Minott and her students are super excited to recognize a person who displays Eagle qualities daily. Mis Minott says, “This student always puts his best care and effort into his work and never cuts corners. He positively encourages everyone to use a growth mindset and his joyful spirit is contagious. He has an unmatched enthusiasm for his class job and sharing during their closing circle. He brings the self-discipline of the karate dojo into the classroom, putting aside distractions to commit to learning and better himself. He also has an amazing sense of humor, making Miss Minott crack up often. Even though he is new to WES, he is someone others just enjoy being around, he has built strong relationships with many friends and staff, and he has made great academic progress. If you haven’t already guessed, the fourth grade eagle is Leland Kouba! You really are HIM, Leland (a.k.a. The Man). Never stop shining! Woot woot!”
Mr. Polley shares, “Oh no, I almost forgot to nominate our Eagle of the Week. When I was reflecting on who to select, all of my focus was directed to one student in particular. Lately this student has been following all classroom routines, working hard to keep on task with their assignments. Recently focused on their NWEA for Reading and it showed that this student has made incredible gains backed by their score. With the ability to find ways to handle ANYTHING in ANY situation Mr. Polley is beyond proud to give this award to Kaiden Bryant. Keep up this incredible effort, focus and continue to make gains as we finish trimester 3!” #WeAreRSU18 #WESproud18
