A Week of Kindness to Remember
The Great Kindness Challenge week at Williams Elementary School was both memorable and heartwarming. Students brightened the hallways with paper hearts and filled the cafeteria with colorful hands, each sharing a promise to show kindness. These simple displays served as powerful reminders that small acts can make a big difference. Student Council members added to the joy by greeting families with kind notes and sweet treats at arrival and dismissal, sharing appreciation with bus drivers, and delivering handmade cards to Atwood students. The school community was especially grateful to Sunrise Bagel for partnering in the celebration. Customers received coffee sleeves decorated by Williams students, spreading smiles beyond the school walls. As Mackenzie from Sunrise Bagel shared, “People loved these today! Thank you for making the Sunrise Bagel team and customers smile today.” It was a week filled with gratitude, connection, and the lasting impact of kindness. #WeAreRSU18 #WESproud18
