Animal Adaptations
Third grade students at Williams Elementary School are wrapping up their animal adaptations unit. While learning about how animals use camouflage and mimicry to adapt and survive, students in Ms. Sides’ class disguised butterflies. Each unique butterfly mimicked a secret area within the classroom. Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Solis, and Mrs. Desrosiers were all able to hunt for the butterflies, although no one found all 17! They say it has been a blast to have staff and students walk into the classroom and notice their hidden butterflies. #WeAreRSU18 #WESproud18
