Eagles of the Week, 4/27/21
Grade 3: Preston Ponitz
It is with great pleasure that Mrs. Charest and his classmates nominate Preston Ponitz as third grade Eagle of the Week. Preston displays an awesome attitude, a positive growth mindset, and ALWAYS puts forth his best effort. He works well with his peers during group activities, and they consider him very likable and easy to get along with. Preston makes sure that others are included both in the classroom and outside on the playground. Preston’s bubbly and energetic personality can light up any space. He is willing to take risks, try new things, and is an active participant when it comes to his learning. Preston is always treating others the way he would like to be treated and that is with kindness, compassion, and a genuine willingness to help others. Keep shining your light, Preston, and don’t change a thing! You rock!
Grade 4: Ben Wilkinson
Mrs. Langis nominates Ben Wilkinson as this week’s Eagle of the Week. Ben is being nominated because of how hard he has been working on his schoolwork, how engaged he is during lessons, and how often he participates throughout the day. Mrs. Langis was particularly impressed with how engaged Ben was during our two days of remote learning before vacation. Keep up the great work, Ben!
Grade 5: Malachi Cusano
Miss Hilton and his classmates nominated Malachi Cusano for Eagle of the Week. Malachi demonstrates what it means to be a true Eagle in many ways. He is kind to others, helpful, responsible, hardworking, and a great listener. He always puts his best foot forward and is willing to take on any challenge that’s put in front of him. Lately, he has been extra helpful to a peer with an injury. Malachi, we appreciate you and all you add to our classroom community!
